Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bhuj – Royal Heritage & Handicrafts

Upon arrival at Bhuj Railway Station or Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and refreshments, begin your exploration of Bhuj’s rich heritage. Visit the Prag Mahal, a 19th-century palace built in Italian Gothic style by British architects, featuring Corinthian pillars, grand durbars, and clock towers. Next, explore the adjacent Aina Mahal, also known as the Hall of Mirrors, an Indo-European fusion palace showcasing royal art, mirror work, and antique collections from the Jadeja dynasty.

Later, visit the Bhujodi Handicraft Village, a living craft village known for its award-winning weavers and traditional Rogan and embroidery artists.

Return to the hotel by evening.

Day 2: Excursion to Mandvi – White Rann & Cultural Night at Dhordo

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Mandvi, a coastal town that blends royal legacy with seaside charm. Visit the majestic Vijay Vilas Palace, the former summer residence of Kutch’s royal family, set amid lush gardens and featuring Rajput architecture with marble jalis, sandstone domes, and intricately carved balconies.

Enjoy a relaxing stroll at Mandvi Beach, known for its clean sands and calm waters, ideal for a serene seaside break.

Post lunch, proceed to Dhordo, the gateway to the White Rann of Kutch, where the renowned Rann Utsav takes place. On the way, visit Nirona Village (optional), famed for Rogan Art (an ancient textile painting technique), copper bell craft, and lacquer woodwork.

By evening, reach your resort or tented accommodation in Dhordo. Explore the Rann Utsav carnival area and then proceed to the White Rann to witness a surreal sunset over the salt desert—a stunning experience as the vast salt plains reflect the changing colors of the sky.

Later, enjoy dinner followed by a cultural night with traditional folk music and dance.

Day 3: Sunrise at White Rann – Kalo Dungar – Departure from Bhuj

Begin your day early with a visit to the White Rann at sunrise, where the salt flats glow under the golden morning light—an iconic and breathtaking moment.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch. From here, take in panoramic views of the Rann below. Visit the Dattatreya Temple, a sacred shrine perched atop the hill, believed to be over 400 years old and associated with local legends and miraculous events.

Descend and begin your journey back to Bhuj, passing through rustic villages and vast desert landscapes.

Arrive in Bhuj by late afternoon or early evening and proceed to the Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Kutch.
