Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Udaipur
On arrival at Udaipur Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and later take a leisurely walk in the vibrant street markets nearby.
Overnight Stay in Udaipur.
Day 02: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for Udaipur sightseeing covering:
City Palace – a stunning complex overlooking Lake Pichola
Jagdish Temple – a 17th-century Vishnu temple in Indo-Aryan style
Fateh Sagar Lake – a serene artificial lake
Return to the hotel in the afternoon and relax. Evening free for shopping or exploring the local markets.
Overnight Stay in Udaipur.
Day 03: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh (85 km / 2–3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kumbhalgarh. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, visit:
Kumbhalgarh Fort – UNESCO World Heritage Site, with walls extending 38 km (second longest in the world after the Great Wall of China)
Shiva Temple & Jain Temples inside the fort
Return to hotel.
Overnight Stay in Kumbhalgarh.
Day 04: Kumbhalgarh – Jodhpur (175 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur – the “Blue City” and “Sun City” of Rajasthan. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later visit:
Mehrangarh Fort – majestic hilltop fort offering panoramic views
Jaswant Thada – marble cenotaph known as the “Taj Mahal of Mewar”
Umaid Bhawan Palace & Museum
Return to hotel.
Overnight Stay in Jodhpur.
Day 05: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (285 km / 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer, the “Golden City” founded in 1156 AD by Maharawal Jaisal Singh. Located in the heart of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is known for its royal havelis and living fort. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Day at leisure.
Overnight Stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 06: Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Sam Sand Dunes
After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer city:
Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila) – India’s only living fort with palaces, temples & museums
Raj Mahal (Royal Palace)
Laxminath Temple & Jain Temples
Patwon Ki Haveli – stunning cluster of mansions
Gadsisar Lake – 14th-century rainwater conservation reservoir
In the evening, drive to Sam Sand Dunes (45 km). Check in at Swiss Cottage Camp. Later enjoy:
Camel ride to Sunset Point on the dunes
Cultural program with Kalbeliya dance & folk music
Dinner at the camp
Overnight Stay at Desert Camp, Sam Sand Dunes.
Day 07: Departure from Jaisalmer
After breakfast, check out from the camp and transfer to Jaisalmer Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.
