Itinerary
Day 1: Ahmedabad – Jamnagar – Dwarka (Approx. 450 km / 8 hours)

Arrive at Ahmedabad, the cultural capital of Gujarat, where our representative will greet you. Begin your sacred journey by driving towards Dwarka, with a stop en route at Jamnagar.

In Jamnagar, explore:

  • Bala Hanuman Temple – Renowned for its continuous chanting of “Ram Dhun” since 1964, this temple has earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
  • Lakhota Lake & Museum – A picturesque man-made lake in the city center, with the Lakhota Palace and Museum at its center housing royal artifacts, weapons, and pottery.

Later, continue your drive to Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and an ancient kingdom of Lord Krishna.

In the evening, visit:

  • Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagat Mandir) – Dating back over 2,500 years, this magnificent five-storied temple supported by 72 carved pillars is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Attend the evening Aarti to witness the temple lit up in divine radiance.

Overnight stay in Dwarka.

Day 2: Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Nageshwar – Shivrajpur – Dwarka

After breakfast, begin a full-day pilgrimage tour of sacred sites around Dwarka:

  • Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple – One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, this temple features a towering 25-meter Shiva statue and a peaceful spiritual setting.
  • Gopi Talav – A sacred lake where it is believed the Gopis reunited with Lord Krishna in divine love and devotion. Pilgrims often collect the yellow clay called “Gopi Chandan” from here.

Proceed to Bet Dwarka:

  • This island is believed to be the original residential palace of Lord Krishna. The main shrine, established by Guru Vallabhacharya, houses a black idol of Krishna and is visited by thousands of devotees.

On your return journey to Dwarka:

  • Rukmini Devi Temple – Situated 2 km from Dwarka, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s consort. The temple is known for its intricate carvings and mythological significance.
  • Shivrajpur Beach – A Blue Flag certified beach known for its clean sands, shallow waters, and tranquil atmosphere. Perfect for a peaceful coastal break before heading back.

Return to Dwarka and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dwarka.

Day 3: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (Approx. 225 km / 5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Somnath, stopping en route at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi.

At Porbandar, visit:

  • Kirti Mandir – A memorial built next to Gandhi Ji’s ancestral home. The complex includes a museum showcasing rare photographs, letters, and items related to Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi.

Continue to Somnath, one of the most revered Jyotirlinga pilgrimage sites.

In Somnath, explore:

  • Somnath Temple – Believed to be the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple, facing the Arabian Sea, has a powerful spiritual aura and a rich history of reconstruction after multiple invasions.
  • Bhalka Tirth – A sacred site where Lord Krishna was accidentally struck by an arrow, marking the end of his earthly incarnation.
  • Triveni Sangam – The meeting point of three rivers – Hiran, Kapila, and Saraswati. A holy bathing spot, symbolizing spiritual cleansing and release.

In the evening:

  • Attend the Somnath Aarti, an immersive ritual of lights and chants.
  • Watch the Light and Sound Show (optional), which narrates the temple’s legendary history against the backdrop of the temple walls and sea breeze.

Overnight stay in Somnath.

Day 4: Somnath – Ahmedabad (Approx. 400 km / 7 hours)

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Ahmedabad. Arrive by evening and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying with you the spiritual essence of Gujarat’s holiest shrines.
