Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Ekta Nagar – Explore the World’s Tallest Statue
You will be picked up from your preferred location – Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, or directly from Ekta Nagar Railway Station – and driven through scenic countryside to reach Ekta Nagar, home to the iconic Statue of Unity.
On arrival, check in to your hotel or resort and relax briefly before beginning the sightseeing tour:
- Valley of Flowers: A beautifully landscaped garden spread across 24 acres along the Narmada River. It features more than 100 species of blooming plants, offering stunning views of the dam and the Statue.
- Sardar Sarovar Dam Viewpoint: Enjoy panoramic views of the colossal dam – one of India’s largest – surrounded by the Vindhya and Satpura ranges.
- Statue of Unity with Viewing Gallery: Visit the 182-meter-tall statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the tallest statue in the world. Take the high-speed elevator up to the Viewing Gallery at 153 meters, which offers breathtaking views of the dam, river, and surrounding hills.
- Laser Light & Sound Show: At sunset, experience a stunning projection-mapped laser show on the surface of the statue, narrating Sardar Patel’s life and India’s freedom movement.
- Glow Garden: A dazzling garden that comes alive at night with interactive LED installations of trees, animals, and pathways – perfect for an evening stroll and photography.
Day 2: Jungle Safari & Departure
After breakfast and hotel check-out, continue your adventure with one of the top attractions of Ekta Nagar:
- Jungle Safari at Sardar Patel Zoological Park: A world-class safari park spread over 375 acres, home to more than 1,200 animals of over 100 species from across the world. Ride the hop-on-hop-off bus or take a private electric vehicle to spot Asiatic Lions, Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, giraffes, zebras, rhinoceros, and exotic birds like macaws and ostriches. The safari is divided into themed zones based on continent and species origin.
